Nope I haven’t. I tried searching for it but I couldn’t find it.

ATTACK OF THE MUTANT

I became a mutant while reading this book, I went from BK to NYC and back while this photo was being taken (j/k I’m just a normal boy).

Skipper Matthews loves comic books, specifically he LOVES The Masked Mutant.  It’s a comic book about a Mutant Super Villain who can transform into anything he desires and destroy anything and everything he comes into contact with.  Skipper is obsessed.

One day Skipper is taking the bus to the dentist office and he meets a girl named Libby.  Libby doesn’t read Masked Mutant, she reads dumb comics, ugggh.  Then, toats out of the blue, Skipper sees The Masked Mutant’s hide out!  He gets off the bus and approaches the purple towers and the neon green dome.  Libby comes with him…Skipper is so enthralled (good word, right R.L.?).

That night, he goes home and reads the latest comic of The Masked Mutant, and HE’S in it (WHAAAA?!).  The next day Skipper realizes he has to go back to The Masked Mutant’s headquarters, but when he gets there.  It’s gone (weird).  But he realizes that The Masked Mutant is the owner of an invisibility cloak and he and Libby walk through the invisible force field.  They go into the headquarters and when they get into the basement they see a ton of drawings.  It is then that they think this must be the headquarters for the comic book company that makes The Masked Mutant.
All of a sudden, they hear a horrible laugh…The Masked Mutant is in there.  Comic books are real.  The Galloping Gazelle (a good superhero) attempts to save Skipper, but he is no match for The Masked Mutant.  Then right before The Masked Mutant is toats gonna destroy Skipper, Libby busts in and saves the day.  She shoots The Masked Mutant with a molecule melting gun and he dies.  Phew!  Safe right? WRONG!

Right then, Libby transforms into a scary, deep voiced MAN!  She has been The Masked Mutant the whole time!  (Wha-wha-whaaaat?)  Skipper thinks on his feet, and tells The Masked Mutant he’s Elastic Boy and the only thing that can destroy him is Sulfuric Acid.  Without thinking The Masked Mutant transforms into the horrible liquid, and without knowing, destroys himself!  Good work Skipper, now go home and do your homework!

This Goosebumps was so so good.  It had action, suspense, a bit of twisted madness in it.  I give it 45 Goosebumps.  Twas a fun and creative way to scare the crizzap out of me R.L., hahaha, we have fun!

I watched he TV Show episode yesterday of this, since I had already read the book, I knew how it was going to end, but guess what? They added something different to the ending. So worth a watch even if you’ve read the book. Just so you know, they didn’t change the ending, just added something that wasn’t in the book. Really nice surprise!

Goosebumps Most Wanted #7

I just updated the Goosebumps Most Wanted list with #7 A Nightmare on Clown Street. I don’t have any images of a big cover yet, all I could find was this one:

The good news though is that this isn’t a Goosebumps Most Wanted Special Edition and so is numbered #7. I also added Trick or Trap to the list, because it could be #8 since RL Stine tweeted he was working on a Goosebumps book called Trick or Trap.

From reading here, it looks like Murder the Clown will make his return. You may remember him from the Goosebumps Hall of Horrors books.

R.L. Stine tweeted that he is working on a Goosebumps book called Trick or Trap. If you aren’t already following R.L. Stine on Twitter, you definitely should! He is very active on Twitter and always talking to fans.

What is there to be scared about? Jack Black is the perfect actor to play RL Stine! Also, from the villains I’ve seen in the pictures already, it looks like it going to be super good.

In this pic, you clearly see Slappy the Dummy and The Haunted Mask, which are two very important villains. Then you see lesser known ones, like a Creep from Calling All Creeps. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had Monster Blood in this movie too (But that would be CGI, not costume).

Could just be my opinion, but I don’t see any reason to be scared about how the movie will turn out. I am hoping the movie ends with a twist ending, that would be really good.

New stills from the big screen adaptation of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps - including a look at Slappy the Dummy! - have been released. The film hits theaters on August 7, 2015.
